The fan features rust-proof, 3-aluminum blades that improve air velocity and a weather-resistant, aluminum shutter. Additionally, it has corrosion-resistant wire guards and automatic shutters that open and close in tandem with the operation of the fan. The fully enclosed motor is thermally protected and permanently lubricated for easy maintenance.
The fan's superior airflow transfer delivers an impressive 1800 CFM, with a rotating speed of 1650 RPM and a wind speed of 10.5 m/s. Powered by 120V/60Hz, the fan consumes 63W of power.
The included speed controller allows users to adjust the fan's speed from 70% to 100% without creating background noise or hum at low speeds. The installation process is straightforward, with clear instructions provided in the user manual.
To connect the speed controller to the exhaust fan, simply follow the step-by-step instructions. First, connect the white wire of the fan to the black wire of the speed controller. Next, connect the white wire of the speed controller to the switch, the black wire of the fan to the neutral, and the green wire to the ground.
Using the speed controller is equally simple. Start by turning the knob to the "High" setting and gradually decrease the power to your desired level. When finished, turn the knob back to the "Off" position.
If the speed controller is not connected, the exhaust fan will run at maximum speed.
